Coeliac UK in Hospital Caterer

We're pleased to announce that coeliac disease has featured in a fantastic article, written by Norma McGough, in the February edition of the Hospital Caterer.

Not only is the article on 'Coeliac disease: prevalence, symptoms and diagnosis' a double page feature, but it is also featured on the front cover.  Our very own Norma McGough, Head of Diet and Health, discusses gluten-free menu planning for patients with coeliac disease and also our Awareness Week Campaign: Food Without Fear.

The article details how to cater for people with coeliac disease and gives hints and tips about how to avoid cross contamination. This has been a great opportunity to raise awareness about coeliac disease in the arena of hospital caterers: one of our key objectives for 2008.
