The Health Store Maize Polenta 500g

The Health Store recalls a batch of its own brand Maize Flour Polenta due to an incorrect 'Gluten-free' declaration.

As a result of a labelling error, one batch of the product is labelled as being gluten-free but has been found to contain gluten at a level which is not suitable for a naturally gluten-free product. Therefore this batch is not suitable for individuals following a gluten-free diet.

The product affected is as follows;

The Health Store Maize Flour Polenta, Pack size 500g, Batch Code 7255, Best Before Date 06/09/2008

The company has recalled the affected batch from sale. Customers with coeliac disease are advised not to eat this product.

No other Health Store products are known to be affected.
