Dr Chris Steele, Coeliac UK's Ambassador is awarded MBE

The Queen's New Years Honours List, published in December 2007, includes the award of a MBE to Dr Chris Steele, Coeliac UK's ambassador, for his many years' service in the fields of General Medical Practice and in broadcasting.

Dr Chris says : "I am delighted and honoured to receive this award and I thank Her Majesty for recognising my contribution over the years. It has been my passion to help and inform as many people as possible about health matters, and my position on the ITV This Morning show has been an ideal platform for this."
