How to apply for funding

We are working towards developing a sustainable fund for research into better treatments, and possibly a cure, for the disease. In 2005 we were able to fund the biggest research programme in the world as a result of a very generous legacy. However, as we are reliant on legacies and other donations, we cannot be certain that we will be able to award research grants every year. We do not anticipate awarding any further research grants in 2006.

We are committed to fund the best research and therefore advertise extensively in the medical media for research proposals. All applications are subject to an independent peer review process.
